The Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) and other Direct Support payments have become an important feature of Scottish agriculture.
The successful completion of the Single Application Form (SAF) every year is crucial to gaining access to the:
- Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) and associated greening payments
- Less Favoured Area Support Scheme (LFASS)
- Scottish Upland Beef Support Scheme (SUBSS)
- Scottish Upland Sheep Support Scheme (SUSSS)
However, both legacy and current Pillar 2 funded support mechanisms such as:
- Rural Priorities (RP)
- Agri Environment Climate Scheme (AECS)
also rely on the correct completion of the SAF.
All partners in the firm are fully conversant with the current CAP schemes and rules, and keep constantly up to date with changes in order to provide a comprehensive service to our clients.
We can complete the annual SAF and Field Data Sheets on our clients’ behalf. All applications are submitted via the Rural Payments and Services web portal, reducing the administrative burden as well as benefitting from some of the system’s own validation checks.
We can help plan clients’ greening requirements, and produce all the necessary maps and plans to support subsidy applications.
Our bespoke services also include GPS field measurement, advice on cross-compliance and help with any appeals.
